Angela Thiel, MA, BCBA
Owner and Clinical Director
Angela received a bachelors degree in Biology from Taylor University and a masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. Angela has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since November of 2019. Angela is also an executive board member of the Upper Peninsula Association of Behavior Analysts and is a Safety Care Trainer.
Angela has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2011 and has provided and supervised ABA therapy in clinic, home, school, and community settings. Angela founded Northwoods Learning Center to provide quality ABA services to local Michigan and Wisconsin families.
Claire has been working in the field of ABA since 2020 and has experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism in both clinic and in home settings. Claire is attending the undergraduate ABA program at Ball State University and plans to pursue a master's degree in ABA after graduating from the undergraduate program.

Ashley has been working in the field of ABA since 2013 and has experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism in both clinic and in home settings. Ashley graduated from Capella University with a bachelors in Psychology. Ashley is currently working on getting her masters in Applied Behavior Analysis at Capella University.

Krista has been working in the field of ABA since 2023. Krista has experience in individual and group homes, clinical settings, and hospital settings with individuals who have varying mental health diagnoses in all age ranges. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. During her undergraduate program, Krista was nominated for and became a member of Psi Chi and the National Society for Leadership and Success. Krista is pursuing her master’s degree in ABA through Ball State University.

Jessica Tunnicliff
Operations Manager
Jessica received a bachelors degree in Health and Fitness Management from Northern Michigan University. Since then, she has worked for over five years in office administration. Her degree fuels her love of standing desks and taking stretching breaks so that she can better assist and support her co-workers and clients every day.
Jessica manages the daily operations of the center. She oversees components of the business operations, insurance billing, staff management, ensures compliance with regulations, and optimizes overall center performance. Reach out to Jessica with any question or concerns with scheduling or billing.
Jane Moon
Administrative Assistant and Scheduling Coordinator
Jane received a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Since then, she has worked for over seven years with families in in-home training of various parent/child relationships/behaviors and over ten years in customer service and office management. Jane loves serving people and working in a team environment while also providing the best service she can to her co-workers and clients.
